This futon is easy to put together and is a very sturdy high quality item. It looks great!! It's unique shape makes it a versatile and interesting addition to any room. It allows you to have a futon without the limitations of a normal "sofa-shaped" futon. With the mattress in place the frame is virtually invisible so will blend into the decor of any room. It is easy to change the configuration of the futon from lounger to sofa- one person can do it easily. With my metal futon frame I have to have someone assist me when I open or close it. I am really glad that I purchased this product and now it is "my place" in the family room. (Wellll, I do have to share with my three little dogs!!
