Alps Mountaineering Vertex 4.0 Free Standing Tent Review
We got the Vertex 4 on Amazon last year for $149. My husband and I have used this tent for two seasons of fall elk hunting in Northern Wyoming. Last year we had to shovel an imprint out of 4 feet of snow and it worked great. It's a little loud in the rain but is a good tent when you need something that will stand up to solid wind gusts. There is plenty of room for us and our clothes though I wouldn't want to try sleeping 3 adults in this tent. The vestibules are not terribly big but they do the job for boots and wet stuff. We liked the fact that there are two entrances and vestibules to keep "his and hers" gear separate. Material seem solid for the price, I have been careful with the zippers because I wasn't sure if they would hold on the "tight sections" but so far they have held up.
