I have owned this chair for over 2 years and have used it at the beach, 4-5 times a week, gotten salt water on it, and it has been great- I just rinse it off with plain water occasionally- it wears like iron - the seat doesn't sag, the aluminum doesn't bend, the folding locking mechanism continues to preform tho treated rather carelessly and since it folds flat in fits in the car behind the seat. You can stuff alot into the pocket on the back. I've tried many and this is the best.
